I’ve just been to Beaulieu House for dinner…

So many people at the beach area despite high tide… many campers too. Very lively place despite its location

I too prefer the food sold at wet markets but I never really like the smell and wetness of the wet market. Remembered that as a kid, I hate getting my feet wet in my slippers while trying to walk around the wet market with my parents.

yes! Squirrels! I often seen them climbing over the walls and trees as well. But, they moved too quickly to photograph.

Black bird with orange beak? sounds like mynahs…

Heh, I’m not the wet market kind of gal Somehow never quite learnt to poke, prod and pick good bargains. But agree with the freshness of the produce sold in the wet markets. Just that opening hours are not exactly suited for work hours these days.

We learn something new each day I last spotted a black bird with orange beak like a pelican in the tree outside my unit last week, din have the time to grab my camera. Got quite a few squirrels popping by the neighbourhood as well.

Our family goes to wet market on Sundays too.

Comparing between wet market’s yong tau foo and those in NTUC, I will prefer wet market’s fresher and more tasty selection

I have to say we are pretty lucky to have many sandy beaches which we could go to … like in the north, residents staying in Woodlands, Sembawang, Yishun can easily go to the Sembawang Beach to relax and enrol the sea breeze and the sand
